Description (English)

A set of 3 dessert (or charger) plates manufactured by the Freiberger Porzellan factory (Freiberg, Saxony).

Made during the GDR era (approximately 1970s–1980s).

Diameter is 19 cm.

Manufacturer: VEB Freiberger Porzellan. It is a classic example of German porcelain from the second half of the 20th century

Features the popular "Asters" pattern, a classic floral decor in soft tones of lilac, pink, and yellow.

Material: Hard-paste white porcelain with a gold rim (piping) along the edge.

A green backstamp featuring three towers (the coat of arms of the city of Freiberg) and the inscription "Made in GDR". The number "11" below the inscription refers to the shift, inspector, or mold number.

The pattern is well-preserved with vibrant colors. One plate has some wear on the gold gilding.
