Vintage jewelry set consisting of a ring and a pair of dangle earrings.
Made of cupronickel (or nickel silver) with deep silver plating. The metal is covered with a noble vintage patina that emphasizes the relief of the twisted bezel and the openwork elements of the ring; the inserts are made of glazed porcelain with hand-painted artistry.
("Forget-Me-Not Enamel Set").
The jewelry set is crafted in a classic romantic/floral style. The central decorative inserts feature an elongated oval ("marquise") shape.
A delicate hand-painted overglaze design depicting bouquets of forget-me-nots (blue-cyan flowers and thin, graphic stems with leaves) is applied onto a light mint (grayish-green) background.
The base of the earrings is adorned with a sleek, twisted metal bezel (simulated filigree) and equipped with French hook closures with a bottom latch.
The ring features a more intricate silhouette: the insert is elevated in a high bezel setting, complemented by openwork metal elements on the shoulders of the shank.
