Description (English)

Vintage "Scratching Cat" Figurine, porcelain, Germany, 1950s-1970s.

A classic example of mid-20th century European porcelain.

Quality: Good condition. The porcelain is white, and the glaze is clean with no visible defects (crazing).

Hand-painted face (green eyes, pink mouth, black nose). The coloring is applied using a smooth color transition technique (airbrushing or hand-shading) to imitate grey fur.

The numbers 9899, representing the product grade or model number, can be seen on the unglazed part of the base (bisque).

The height of the figurine is approximately 8–9 cm.
