Description (English)

This is the badge marking graduation from a Soviet military academy. A unified design for the badge was adopted in 1957 and used until 1991.

The inscription "VU SSSR" means "Military School of the USSR"

The badges were made of brass using enamel.

The signs were produced at the POBEDA plant in Moscow.

The provided specimen has a screw-on mount.
