A set of two 1971 USSR souvenir sheets from the series dedicated to the "Luna-17" automatic station and "Lunokhod-1", the world's first remote-controlled lunar rover.
Each sheet consists of a se-tenant block of 4 stamps with decorative margins.
Stamp Designs:
· "Luna-17" station on the Moon (10 kop.).
· Control center and long-range space communication antenna (12 kop.).
· First tracks of "Lunokhod-1" (12 kop.).
· "Lunokhod-1" rover on the lunar surface (16 kop.).
Condition:
1. Used/Cancelled: Features a clear postmark (Moscow, 1971).
2. Mint Never Hinged (MNH): Unused, no postal markings.
