Description (English)

1983 USSR Souvenir Sheet from the "Masterpieces of the State Hermitage. German Painting of the 15th–20th Centuries" series.

Dimensions: 14.5 cm (length) x 8 cm (width).

The stamps depict the painting "Portrait of a Young Man" (c. 1518) by the artist Ambrosius Holbein.

The sheet consists of two stamps on the edges and a central coupon with text in Russian about the Hermitage collection.

Catalog Numbers: Soloviev Catalog: No. 5422; Michel Catalog (Germany): Block 165 (or as part of the Mi #5334 series).

Features: A six-digit individual number is printed at the bottom of the sheet (on this copy — No. 447736).

Condition

Front side: The sheet appears clean, with no visible creases, stains, or damage to the perforations. The colors are bright.
Reverse side: The sheet is clean (MNH — Mint Never Hinged).
Gum: The gum layer is preserved; there are no traces of stamp hinges or paper damage.
The perforation is complete, with no missing areas.
This condition is rated by collectors as "excellent" or "luxury".
