USSR Commemorative 1 Ruble Coin (1989), dedicated to the 175th Anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.

Condition: Excellent (UNC/Proof).
Reverse: The center features a profile portrait of T.G. Shevchenko.
Inscriptions: To the left of the portrait, the name "Т. Г. ШЕВЧЕНКО" is inscribed in a semicircle, with the years of his life — 1814 and 1861 — shown next to it in two lines.
Signature: A facsimile of the poet's signature is located at the bottom.
Material: Copper-nickel alloy.
Specifications: Weight — 12.8 g, diameter — 31 mm, thickness — 2.3 mm.
Edge: The edge features the incuse inscription "ОДИН РУБЛЬ" (ONE RUBLE) repeated twice and separated by square dots.
