Vintage Riga Porcelain Decorative Plate "Vecriga" (Old Riga) – RPR Latvia
Riga porcelain, USSR, Old Riga, RPR, collectible porcelain, Soviet vintage.
A classic example of Soviet-era porcelain from the renowned Riga Porcelain Factory (Rīgas porcelāna rūpnīca — RPR). This decorative wall plate features a beautiful graphic panorama of Old Riga.
Design: Detailed graphic depiction of the Old Riga skyline, including the spires of St. Peter's Church, the Dome Cathedral, and St. James's Church, with a sailing ship on the Daugava River.
Hard-paste white porcelain with underglaze and overglaze painting and a gold-leaf rim.
Period: Produced between the 1970s and 1990s.
Markings: Features the blue "RPR" factory stamp on the reverse.
Dimensions: Approximately 14–15 cm in diameter.
In good vintage condition. The gold gilding on the rim remains intact, with no visible chips or cracks.
Includes a factory-made hole on the back for easy wall mounting.
