USSR 1970. "Luna-16" Souvenir Sheets Set of 2: Mint MNH + CTO Luxury. Pristine Condition!
Up for auction is an excellent collectible set of two USSR 1970 souvenir sheets (triptychs) commemorating the historic flight of the "Luna-16" automatic interplanetary station and the first-ever return of lunar soil samples to Earth.

· Condition: Superb (Collectible grade), completely free of hidden defects, tears, or creases.
· Excellent luxury appearance.
The lot includes two different types of the official issue in flawless preservation:
1. Mint Sheet (MNH / ): Unused, mint never hinged, with original gum and no hinge marks or traces. Bright colors, perfect perforation.
2. CTO Sheet (Canceled to Order / o): Features crisp, official postal cancellations (Moscow, 12.12.70). The sheet is absolutely new and unused! It was never affixed to envelopes and did not pass through the mail, meaning the paper, corners, and perforation are in pristine, luxury typographic condition. Original gum is partially preserved on the reverse side.
