Description (English)

Full, pristine vintage tea set "Karīna" – Riga Porcelain Factory (RPR), USSR (Latvian SSR), Riga.

A complete, never-used tea service for 6 persons in the iconic "Karīna" shape—one of the most elegant and sought-after designs from the Riga Porcelain Factory. This set includes the original quality control tag.

Set includes: 1 Teapot, 1 Sugar Bowl, 1 Creamer (Milk Jug), and 6 Tea Pairs (cups + saucers).

Pattern: "Polish Rose" (Poļu rozes) – a classic composition of red and white roses with green foliage, accented by rich gold gilding.

Condition: Excellent, "new old stock" condition. The gilding is bright and intact; the porcelain is free of chips, cracks, or glaze defects.

Quality: High-quality thin-walled porcelain, typical of the Latvian SSR. Renowned for its exceptional whiteness, translucency, and durable glaze.

Markings: Red RPR (Rīgas porcelāna rūpnīca) stamp, signifying 1st Quality Grade. This specific mark was used from the 1970s to the early 1990s.

Provenance: Includes the original paper tag ("Sorter No. 6"), confirming its authentic, unused status.
