The painting “Nude on the Theme of Modigliani” (according to the inscription on the reverse) fits perfectly into Kačerovskis’s creative method of the early 1980s.

Signature on the front: In the lower right corner, the monogram “V.K.” (Vitolds Kačerovskis) is visible.

Technique: A very characteristic brushstroke — thick, textured, almost sculptural. He “models” the form with color.

Color: The use of deep ochre and brown tones combined with pink flesh tones is Kačerovskis’s hallmark in the nude genre.

Condition of the painting:

• The reverse side is clean, with no signs of mold or serious.
• Paint layer: Good adhesion is visible. There is no pronounced craquelure (cracking) or flaking, which is important for oil paintings of this age (40+ years).
• The presence of a dedication, signature, date, and title on the reverse provides excellent provenance.
